Now we need to create the environment for the flower. We’ll put this interactive flower into a glass sphere. In fact, we’ll put a lot of them inside, but first let’s create the sphere itself. The best way is to render/raytrace the glass sphere in some good 3D software - you’ll be able to define the colors later in the Flash environment. I made my sphere up of three different radial gradients, adding a bit of glow to the edge. You will need to experiment with different gradients and setups until you’re happy with it.
